Fairmont Banff Spring’s lovable pup Bear was welcomed to the Castle in the Rockies in 2018. His lovable nature and cheeky personality are a favourite amongst guests, who enjoy giving him cuddles and taking him out on hiking adventures. Bear loves to play with his many furry friends that visit him in the Hotel and enjoys playing in the snow during winter. Bear is the paw-fect ambassador, and we are so lucky he calls Fairmont Banff Springs home!

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge welcomed Canine Ambassador Stanley in octubre 2013 from Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Stanley loves showing his new friends his favorite trails around the property and beautiful Jasper National Park. Calla was welcomed in 2022 as Stanley’s co-Canine Ambassador. She is the happiest girl and loves to be pet. She is famous for her smile and is all about going on walks with guests providing the perfect tour of the property!

Daphnie was trained to be a guide dog by the Mira Foundation. Given her amazing kindness and incredible social skills she changed careers to become the famed Canine Ambassador at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac where she can socialize constantly. Daphnie is a St-Pierre breed (cross of Bernese Mountain Dog and Labernese), and was born in febrero 2013.

Home to 300 acres of natural playground, walking trails and riverfront fun, Fairmont Le Château Montebello is a true doggy paradise. Bello, the hotel’s beloved canine ambassador, is a five-year old black lab who was originally trained by the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind and now enjoys his peaceful and nature-filled days at Fairmont Le Château Montebello.

Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu Canine Ambassador Roux enjoys a laid back lifestyle in beautiful Charlevoix. Always excited to meet and greet new friends, Roux is happy to share a selfie with guests and visitors.

Lucky, Fairmont Tremblant’s resident Canine Ambassador, loves to take walks with guests and send welcome cards to other four-legged friends visiting the hotel.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s new Canine Ambassador Alta is also an official Whistler Experience Guide and accompanies guests on hikes and outdoor adventures around the hotel. When not sniffing out a new adventure, she can be found exploring Fairmont Chateau Whistler and greeting guests and colleagues alike. Guests can also take home an adorable stuffed Alta Warm Buddy, available for sale in Portobello’s market. A portion of proceeds go to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Meet Ella, a five-year-old Labrador/Golden Retriever mix, and Eleanor (Elly for short), a six-year-old Black Labrador, two lovable Canine Ambassadors who always give guests at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver a ‘paw-sitively’ warm welcome. Ella and Elly were trainees with BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, however, they proved too social for careers as guide dogs, making them perfect hotel dogs.

RESIDENT GOOD BOY: A new colleague and resident Canine Ambassador at the Empress! Winston, a 3 year old Labrador/Golden Retriever cross joined the team at Fairmont Empress in enero 2019, and has since made headlines across the country and around the globe for his expertise in wellness travel. Winston welcomes guests, reduces travel stress, takes guests out for walks in Victoria and makes everyone feel right at home. Friends and fans can follow along with Winston’s daily adventures on his popular Instagram account @WinstonattheEmpress.
